At Estèlligence, you work on this position in a small accounting team under the supervision and with the support of more experienced people. Given the nature of our clients, you work primarily with commercial law companies (one or several, depending on their size).

Your main duties will include:

  • posting bank statements,

  • formal acceptance of key accounting documents, e.g. purchase invoices and posting them (WN, MA), differentiating between net/gross,

  • issuing and posting sales invoices,

  • clearing settlements,

  • preliminary analysis and reconciliation of accounts,

  • preparing statements/returns based on data contained in the system under the supervision of an Accountant,

  • aid in preparing financial statements, reports and other statements (e.g. GUS, NBP etc.),

  • preparing detailed printouts from the system on request of an Accountant and supporting the team in other ongoing tasks,

  • operational contact with the client (e.g. in order to clarify issues related to document records).

You are an excellent candidate if:

  • you already have at least a few months of experience in accounting (ideally in an accounting firm),

  • you already know the basics of accounting and the Accounting Act, including:

    • you know what accounts costs and revenue are posted to and therefore you know how to find what accounts the transaction can be posted to on the chart of accounts,

    • you distinguish between different types of accounting documents and know how to verify if the documents are correct,

  • you have experience in working with accounting software (it would be excellent if you knew Comarch Optima – but if not, we will teach you!) and as a result you know how to enter key documents into the accounting software on your own,

  • you know the basics of tax provisions (VAT, CIT, PIT), for example rules for preparing tax returns,

  • you are proficient in using computers and MsOffice (particularly Excel) and you are open to learning new software,

  • you have a university degree or you are currently studying  (best if in the following majors: economics, finance, accounting, etc.),

  • the character of an accounting firm also requires greater flexibility and the ability to cope with pressure, thus acting quickly is important too,

  • it is important for us that you know English well enough for relatively unhindered business communications (Italian or German would be an advantage, too),

  • above all, you want to grow further and you are committed to what you do

Since we work in a team, communication skills, personal etiquette and the ability to work in a group are of key importance to us. People who are conscientious, exact, meticulous, responsible and punctual in performing duties entrusted to them will feel at home with us.
